My name is Arijit, and my journey with Sai Baba is one that feels like destiny—something beyond words, beyond reason, yet deeply felt. I cannot pinpoint the exact moment it all began, but I do remember the first spark—the song "Shirdi Wale Sai Baba" from the iconic film Amar Akbar Anthony. As a child, that melody stirred something in my heart, planting a desire to visit Shirdi one day. That dream came true around 2001 or 2002, but little did I know that Sai Baba had already begun weaving His presence into my life.

It was in 2015 that I felt an inexplicable pull toward Him. From that moment on, my bond with Baba only deepened, and I found myself feeling His presence in my everyday life—guiding, protecting, and reassuring me. I am immensely grateful to the Sai devotees who have created spaces where faith blossoms through shared experiences. Inspired by them, I began documenting the miracles and moments of grace Baba has blessed me with—initially as a personal record, but my wife, Shompa, encouraged me to share them. She believed that these stories could ignite hope and faith in others, just as they have in us.

I truly believe Baba has guided me to share our story today. Through this portal, I wish to bring to light a remarkable experience that reaffirmed our faith—a divine blessing that Shompa and I will cherish forever.

Chapter 2: Early Years of Marriage

I married my childhood friend, someone I had known for over two and a half decades. Our marriage began in 2011, and like any newlyweds, we spent the initial years adjusting to our new life together. Our journey took us from Allahabad to Pune for higher education, then to Delhi for work, and finally to Hyderabad in December 2013. In January 2015, I received a job offer from a renowned company, which required me to relocate to Bangalore. Despite the excitement, I intended to return to Hyderabad as soon as possible.

Chapter 3: The Struggles in Bangalore

Bangalore was a challenging phase in my life. I struggled to adjust and yearned to return to Hyderabad within three months. Fortunately, there was a Sai Baba temple near my residence, where I prayed daily for his help. Through persistent efforts, trials, and prayers, I managed to move back to Hyderabad by March 2015, exactly three months later. This experience marked the beginning of my realization of Baba's divine presence in my life. Numerous other incidents between March 2015 and June 2018 further solidified my faith in Baba.

Chapter 4: The Desire for Parenthood

As time passed, my wife and I decided to start a family. However, our efforts were in vain for a long time. Since 2017, we became more serious about it and sought medical advice. Our doctor suggested trying naturally for 6 to 8 months before considering medical interventions. In June 2018, I got another job offer in Bangalore, coinciding with a period of joblessness. I moved to Bangalore, leaving my wife in Hyderabad. Every fortnight, I traveled back to Hyderabad, and in October 2018, I was allowed to shift my base back to Hyderabad.

Chapter 5: Seeking Medical Help

Back in Hyderabad, we resumed our efforts to conceive, guided by our doctor, Dr. Srilatha Gorthi, who was like Sai Baba in human form for us. Despite facing numerous challenges and disappointing test results, our doctor remained positive and encouraging. Every month that we didn’t conceive, our faith wavered a bit, but Baba kept us going. By the end of December 2019, we were still unsuccessful.

Chapter 6: A Glimmer of Hope

We decided that if we couldn’t conceive by January 2020, we would consult our doctor for alternative procedures like IUI/IVF. In February 2020, my wife went to our hometown, and we tried one last time before initiating IUI. While traveling back to Hyderabad on 14th February 2020, my wife felt hopeless as she thought we hadn’t conceived again. During her journey, she came across a video narrating a similar experience and decided to start taking Baba’s Udi daily in water.

Chapter 7: The Miracle Unfolds

Upon her return, we visited Baba’s temple, and she shared her feelings with Baba. We started taking Udi daily, and exactly one month later, we tested positive for pregnancy. After eight long years, we were finally expecting our Little Sai.

Chapter 8: Pregnancy During the Pandemic

Our pregnancy journey was not smooth. In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic started spreading, and lockdowns began. We managed everything on our own, with limited access to doctors and medical staff. During one anomaly scan, it was detected that our baby’s nasal bone hadn’t formed, indicating a potential Down syndrome marker. We were devastated, but our doctor advised us to have faith in Baba.

Chapter 9: Holding On to Faith

Despite multiple scans confirming the same diagnosis, we held on to our faith. We decided not to go for any more anomaly scans and continued with our monthly check-ups. We prayed to Baba, lit a Diya every night, and believed our baby would be healthy. Our doctor kept reassuring us, and we found strength in Baba’s teachings.

Chapter 10: Baba's Miraculous Intervention

During the pregnancy, we watched many videos of Baba’s miracles, which boosted our faith. One particular video narrated a similar experience where a baby diagnosed with Down syndrome was born healthy. This solidified our trust in Baba. Amidst many anxious moments, we kept our faith strong. In the ninth month, my mother-in-law joined us, providing much-needed support.

Chapter 11: The Birth of Arinjoy

On 4th November 2020, our doctor advised us to get admitted the next day for delivery. On 5th November 2020, a Thursday, our son Arinjoy was born. Despite earlier scans indicating Down syndrome, post-birth tests confirmed that our baby was perfectly healthy, proving once again that Baba’s blessings are miraculous.
